Hey all,
So I got asked by a local met at a small local TV station here in Fargo to talk about basic storm types from a chasers perspective (I think he's interviewing NWS also). His goal is to do a story to educate the public about the differences between say a shelf cloud and a wall cloud and how to differentiate between clouds and motions that are actually dangerous vs regular scud or "scary looking clouds". The interview is on Monday.
I'm confident I can talk on it but I was just wondering if anyone had any tips or things that they say to non-wx folks that works for them when you are trying to describe these differences? What about pictures/references?
