• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

DVD:“Get Out and Film It!â€￾ by Scott Currens

This is definitely one of those videos you can't take your eyes off of. There aren't a lot of chase DVDs that I would sit and watch start to finish without skipping parts, but this is one where I did just that. Very professional -

As promised the total raised through My DVD sale for the Eric Nguyen Memorial Scholarship is $75. I will continue with the $5 donations for every DVD purchased from my website through April 1. Just to be clear I am not making individual $5 dollar donations. I will make a single donation with the total amount raised after April 1.

I forgot to post the final $ amout raised. The total amount raised through DVD sales is $360. I'd like to give a big thanks to everyone that made donations.

Anyone wanting to make a donation should go to: Eric Nguyen Memorial Scholarship

I just watched the preview and I sit here quite impressed. The footage is incredible and the editing is top notch. Not for one second did I lose interest while watching the video. I guess I need to buy this one.

I have seen Scott's work and he does a great job editing. In addition his equipment he uses is top notch so it is very good quality.

I watched his new footage at a chaser get together the other day and it was awesome. I totally recommend his work.

Scott is a veteran chaser and chases frequently. I recall asking him how many chases he did this year and I think if I remember correctly he said 30. Thats twice as many as myself and most others who are avid chasers.

Thus his title is fitting "Get Out and Film It" !

Good work Scott.

Fred

If the remarks of those before me were not enough to convince you that this is an awesome DVD, then it's quite possible your just not a fan of tornadoes; If this is indeed the case, then I suppose you need not purchase this DVD, however for those normal people out there who can't get enough of tornadoes, this is an all out must buy. It would be hard to find a DVD with more tornadoes, the variety of tubes that Scott showcased on the DVD is amazing, needles, cones, amazing stovepipes, barrel tornadoes, wedges and some of the most impressive rope outs I have seen. I watched hoping to cure some SDS, though I'm afraid the DVD made me miss "Getting Out and Filming" even more, and the 11/27/05 chapter has me checking the models with a little bit hope...
