I know alot of news stations will stream some of their stuff such as forecasts news stories etc. for viewing at a later time but I was wondering which stations stream live continous weather or even like KSWO ch.7 in Lawton Oklahoma have their own 24/7 channel which they not only have on cable tv but also stream it to the net live. They do all their severe weather updates not only on the TV but also from there as well.
Rather than go through each TV stations websites around the plains I thought it would be a good idea to get a list going here of what stations do this. With a good internet connection it would be a good tool (since they get local spotter and chaser reports) to use kinda like I used to do but without haulin a little TV with an antenna with me. I have stopped using the TV years ago but it was more because the signal would be crappy. I think with a good net connection you would be tuned in all ya wanted and with good quality. KSWO even shows their tower cams and current conditions live all day so you can check dewpoints in Duncan...see how the CU looks in Altus...etc.
A list of any TV stations where I could tune in online and watch their coverage while out on the road would be something handy I would think.

Ill add KSWO.COM Lawton/Wichita Falls to start off the list.

No matter how ridiculous the commentary is, I'm pretty sure that KFOR.com out of Oklahoma City does. They may be retarded but, they do bring some good pictures. KFOR and NWS OUN don't get along very well and after watching these guys, you'll quickly see why.

Try koco.com in Oklahoma city. I believe they stream with their fast units.
kfor.com does an excellent job with their coverage but i do agree with eric regarding the commentary.

With the vast majority of TV stations now broadcasting in digital, you would be amazed at the reception you can get off a little USB tuner in your laptop. No bandwidth issues to deal with either. Last year chasing we had one of these tuners and was receiving an excellent signal even in High Definition. You can usually pick up one of these tuners in the $50-75 range and use the simplest of UHF antennas to get an awesome signal. I just got one from Costco online. Happy chasing

In big budget markets on the east coast it is very common. Stations stream everything. They have their own crews, some stations even have partnerships or co-own live streaming media companies (like Mogulus who I use). The small markets out in the plains is great for getting involved with the streaming there because you get get recognized and I'm sure that's how some of the chasers got linked with their stations for chase streaming.

With the economy going sour for a while, the stations don't seem to be expanding too much. If something new comes out, it was likely due to funds already expensed and and technology paid for.

KFOR

Drive like a-holes. Yesterday, they tailed me until they could pass me on a double line to blow through the small town of Leedey, OK at a high rate of speed. If you have to do that, you busted your forecast. Get lost.
