Displaying winter precip on GRLevel3.

Hey all,

I was wondering how to make GRLevel3 display precip in the winter color spectrum. I went on the GRLevelX help site, but no cigar.

It's not too necessary but it would be cool and more accurate.

Check out GRLevelXstuff.com, Dave. Go to the downloads section, then to color tables, and then to reflectivity. You'll find a bazillion reflectivity tables, including a number of winter weather tables.

Ok, I downloaded the reflectivity table I wanted and placed it in the GRLevel3 folder on my hard drive. How do I get it to work now?

If you've got the file properly loaded in your GR3 folder, then the rest is a snap. Here's what you need to do:

1. Open GR3.
2. Select the "View" pulldown menu.
3. Select "Set color table," and then choose "Reflectivity."
4. A folder containing various color tables will appear. You should see the one you just downloaded among them. Double-click on it.
5. The folder will disappear and you'll see your new color table displayed on the GR3 screen. You're good to go.
