We've talked many times about Hurricane Helene, sometimes in the context of FEMA, on this board.

There is gripping story about CSX Railroad's recovery from Helene on page 32 of the April Trains. It is nearly unbelievable what they had to go through. They also spent $500 million on the repairs.

Knowing that some chasers are also train fans, I highly recommend it.

Once upon a time Stormtrack created a Discord server to increase engagement, especially for short-fuse conversation.
