Although they are becoming more frequent as winter approaches, these thunderstorms in Baghdad barely qualify as such. It really looked like it was going to do something good today. There were towering cumulus, albeit elevated, and high humidities. As today's shower passed, it was a "burst" of moderate rainfall mixed with faint rumbles of thunder. Maybe the term "thundershower" should not be such a faux pas to describe these poor excuses for convection. :cry:
