P. S. With respect to the Brave New World in which we live, I couldn't remember Dr. Doswell's web links. I typed the following search string into the Google searchbar: "Charles Doswell". The instant results are as above.
I have recently been re-reading Dr. Doswell's Meso-scale Analysis Manuals. I was just wondering last night, he mentions Vol III in Vol II. I do not have Vol III. Does anyone know if he ever wrote a Vol III and if so do you know where I might acquire it?
The second link seems to be for the current page (as in the one that he keeps updated)... He does have some very interesting and education essays, papers, etc, on the site, so if you're looking for some good educational reading (some basic, some advanced), just peruse the website. I always get a kick out of reading his Pet Peeves page http://webserv.chatsystems.com/~doswell/pe...Pet_Peeves.html

Met him for the first time, Friday. He gave a great talk on the Past, Present and Future of storm chasing at California U of PA. A great guy indeed. Very sincere person, not afraid to speak the truth.
