Agreed! This avocation of ours causes enough problems with the wives (and, for others, girlfriends)... Do we really need to make matters worse by spending Valentine's Day weekend at ChaserCon!?!

Meh, I could care less about Valentine's Day. Just another holiday created to spend money on crap. I take the road of giving little gifts year-round instead of just 3x a year (x-mas, Valentine's, and b-day). Hell, a trip to OKC and some drinking sounds like an excellent gifts for a special lady in my opinion.

I tend to agree. Just better hope your lady friend feels the same way! Luckily, mine does (she prefers just spending time together).

Yeah thats how it's been with us. No extravagant date night with a ton of intimate gifts. Usually just dinner and other "activities".
