Chaser photos/videos from Katrina

Dan Robinson

My web site is currently getting a large amount of search query referrals from people looking for Katrina photos and video from chasers covering the storm. I would like to direct some of this traffic to chasers who were actually there.

If you were on-location for Katrina and have any photos and video online on your site right now, please either PM, email me at [email protected] or post your link. I will keep your link on the front page of my site for a week or so to direct some of the traffic to you.

My only request is that these be first-hand photos and video from chasers who were there.

Thanks!
Dan

"Lightning boy" Kiesling has some powerful video in his latest installment on his site.

Has Jim Leonard retired from this business?

Almost two decades ago, I lived in Mid-City New Orleans which came under a mandatory-evacuation order for Hurricane Katrina.
That seemed reasonable considering many places in the city measure below sea-level, and the storm had grown large and powerful.
I enjoy watching rain bands blow in, but I complied and left; I knew the damage potential. When I returned, primitive conditions prevailed.
My images from the Lower Ninth Ward show incredible destruction, and of course, the barge that thunderously broke through one of the levees.80620025.jpeg80620008.jpeg80620006.jpeg80620012.jpeg
