LOL...TWC isn't high quality eye candy to me either. Of course....even if there were women in bikini's, when I watch TWC...I would rather see good on topic weather discussion, forecasts, etc. I mean I know many of you live in the central US, but really, there has got to be better looking women out there too.

As of Press Release today, Dish Network is canceling the TWC contract saying TWC will be deleted from their Channels soon.
Today, they added, "The Weather Cast" Channel to Dish Ch. 213.
The Weather Entertainment Channel and The Bald Arrogance will be deleted within days.
My opinion is Dr. Steve Lyons saw the handwriting on the wall and is bailing while the bailing is good. The word has been for some time that he wants to go to NHC, but has to be on the payroll first at any station to get in the door. In my opinion, when he gets there, he will be a great asset.
It will be interesting to see how the new channel grows.

What I don't get is....there is some channel on my Verizon FIOS package that does nothing but SELL KNIVES. If there are enough idiots to keep an all knife channel going, then SURELY there are enough people that will watch an all weather channel!
BTW, you would never believe how many really tacky knives there are for sale. Pocket knives that will blow your mind....

I'm glad Dr. Lyons got the MIC job, I think he will make a good one. TWC has become really too commercialized for me but I still like the local on the 8's
