So, was watching this guys feed and a truck coming at him was honking pretty hard, but he kept going. Seemed like a silly thing to do, I wouldn't have kept going in the direction he was, but hindsight is always 20/20. Sounds like he and chase partner ok, but truck is damaged badly.

Last bit of audio was OMG OMG with glass breaking and what sounded like the vehicle rolling.

You need 20/20 hindsight to see that as an issue? Seems that would have been evident in foresight.

I said, "I wouldn't have kept going in the direction he was", but because I don't want to completely destroy the guy, hindsight will be 20/20 for him.

To bring this back to the other thread - it appears this is probably a yahoo from the area who just drove to the warning, as opposed to a storm chaser, but either way I don't think this will in any way impact the public's "opinion" of storm chasers.

He is a chaser...and not a "yahoo", albeit a newer chaser. fwiw.
