Wanted to post this for those that might be interested or looking for a photographer for senior pics, weddings and or family photography.

Chad has recently "opened shop" in the Durant OK area and is currently taking reservations for sittings. I wanted to post this in case there might be any chasers who have teenagers that will be graduating this year and are in need of a photographer or for those that might be getting engaged or married, or simply for those that want family pics done.

For those that know him, Chad is a pretty humble guy and would never post anything like this but I figured with as many chasers as we have on this forum, someone might have need for a great photographer.

Always good to help out a chaser, and more importantly, always good to help out a small business and a local one when you can (a philosophy I used especially when traveling in the plains).

No that is not at all what that means. For the $399 you have a 1 hour session for photographs in which all images taken for that hour are included on a DVD with a print release. Also, 5 images from the session, either of his or your choice, will then be retouched using photoshop...

Go to other photographers around the area and check out their prices for a similar product... I'm better he is well within range for the market!

Those prices seem spot on to me. Two months ago, I shot a wedding that lasted just over 8hours. For a price of 1,250. With two Photographers, we shot over 3,000 images....And we undercharged big time! Editing photos for clients can be a real pain the A** if you know what I mean.

I will say, that before anyone pays that kind of money, they're going to want to see some work of his first. He doesn't have anything in his folio besides what you see on the front page. He definitely needs to showcase some of his work.

with all do respect, Chad is still working on the website including getting everything needed for his portfolio, knowing that he needs to shoot more to add to it. I know he is looking for more sittings and hence the reason for this thread.
I have employed Chad for the last 2 years during the tours not only as my lead guide and driver but also as the company photographer...he has done a wonderful job and has a great eye!
I have included a shot that Chad took during the tours, specifcially the May 25 tour/event near Bartlett Colorado of a very nice LP. Of course as we all know the lighting sucked during the event but Chad did a great job with his exposure.
Anyways, for those that might need a photographer just wanted to let everyone know that he is available.

I apologize if I came across as rude, or demeaning, as that was totally not my intention! I know just about every time I receive a lead to a potential client, 98% of the time they (the client) want to see my Wedding/Portrait portfolio.

I also didn't realize (or plain didn't pay enough attention) that he is just getting his site up and running. I always enjoy viewing other photographers work
and seeing how they might have gone about a similar photo shoot differently than the way I would have approached it.

I wish him the best of luck in this endeavor, and am looking forward to seeing more of his work!

Congratulations Chad on the new venture. I've only known Chad a little over a year, but everything the man sets his mind to, he does 110%. Great person, very humble, and very honest. Looking forward to seeing his offerings once the site/business is up and running to full capacity.
