• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

I've gone the direct connect route so I'm selling this booster. It allows up to 10 devices to boost in your car simultaneously regardless of carrier. I have the version for a car (not an RV) so the whip antennas are smaller and no cone antenna but it has everything you need.
Here is the maximum signal site, it is this exact model:

It is 4 years old and works flawlessly. The outside antenna and cable have some wear but are functional. These top of the line boosters go for Price: $489.95 new. I'd like to get $200 (free shipping) - I'll have it at ChaserCon this weekend if you like to see it.

I held a signal throughout much of the plains and was able to keep my live stream up. If you have multiple devices and/or a device without an external port this is the way to go. I had the 3g/4g sprint usb device running with it as well as my cell phone. One time in Nebraska folks were standing near my car to make their phone calls. If you moved away you had no signal.

I'm potentially interested if Bart doesn't decide to get it since he spoke first.

Till the traveller came out the IVWA was the best unit on the market . The traveller is smaller , a little more powerful, needs less antenna separation and draws a little less power . That is not to say the IVWA draws a lot of power . It draws .4 -.8 amps .Where even just a wilson direct connect amplifier draws 2 to 3 amps. It is still the 2nd best in vehicle wireless amplifier available anywhere.

Verne,

The link you provided is apparently defunct. Any idea what the difference is between this and the new Traveler IN at http://www.maximumsignal.net/store/product.php?productid=16234&cat=10&page=1
