Can anyone remember the pink tornado?

One of those living cyclonic legends Jon....I remember hearing about this somewhere and was having a hard time wrapping my mind around such a demand for geraniums at one location. LOL

The tornado did hit a greenhouse, but that was not the cause of the pink color. It's a fun rumor, but not true.

Ah, heck! And I so wanted to believe it. Did seem like it would have to have been one helluva lotta geraniums.

Next I suppose folks will be telling me there's no Easter Bunny.

That's funny Jon. I remember telling my son The Legend of the Pink twister. He thought it was great. When i heard it back in the day, I was told at the end of the story, "no one knows for sure if it was pink from the flowers or the clays of the land. Some say the man who truly knows was wisked away to OZ, never to be heard from again..." It's a great legend and an even more fantastic story!!!

Although Jon Davies squelched the Andover "pink tornado" rumor (thank you very much, Mr. Buzzkill), I can assure you the Easter Bunny rumor is TRUE! I have video of him, I just can't seem to find it.

the date of the pink tornado was april 26, 1991 when it was going through haysville, ks. if any 1 is looking 4 the pink tornado u can find on a pbs show called "savage skies". just type in savage skies:tornadoes and u will find it on youtube. also on youtube u can type in Andover/Wichita tornado and that video has the pink tornado as well.
