Bolts from the Blue at New Baden, IL - August 17, 2019

After a long season of high-mileage mediocrity, 2019 finally delivers something exceptional 2 miles from home. I was treated to an hour-long show of "bolts from the blue" just outside of my home town (New Baden, IL). The storm was about 15 miles to my southwest, and was throwing bolts 5 to 10 miles to the west into clear air.
