Beautiful Weather

Billy Griffin

After some of the most miserable weather from November 1st through this past week, here in Seattle area, we have been enjoying a "taste of spring" with temperatures hovering around 60+ degrees during the day, and a warming trend is forecast! The rain has gone (oh yeah) and sunny skies are the order of the day.

AFD forecaster even uses some humor in his discussion:

RADAR SHOWS PRECIP HAS ALMOST ENDED OVER THE NORTH PART THIS AFTERNOON...AND DESPITE LOTS OF CLOUD COVER OFFSHORE... LATEST MODEL TIME-HEIGHT SECTIONS INDICATE CLOUDS DECREASING OVER THE AREA AFTER MIDNIGHT AS THE UPPER LEVEL RIDGE OVER THE REGION AMPLIFIES. THE RIDGE SHOULD BUILD ENOUGH WITH EASTERLY OFFSHORE FLOW DEVELOPING WEDNESDAY FOR A MOSTLY SUNNY AND MILD DAY. GO EL NINO...BYE-BYE WACKY WEATHER.

If this weather continues, plans are for a fun weekend of photos in the mountains and out on the coast! Ahh, spring fever!
