Backside of Shelf Cloud?

Looking for some opinions on this. On a chase in MN last year, we encountered this feature after driving east out of the precip core. This picture is looking SW, with these lowerings moving from right to left. Precip core is on the right. Based on storm structure and movement, best I can tell, this seems like it is the sideview / backside of the shelf cloud. Thoughts?

That is what it looks like. Here's one I took in SE Iowa on Jun 18th as I drove under a shelf cloud, you can see on the left side of the photo the similarities to yours where you can see the underside.
