Are there many female chasers/spotters?

I would love to find someone that I could tag along with. I haven't had the best luck finding a veteran chaser that is willing to allow a married, mother of two, to chase with them. Maybe I am just awkward around men, but I would love to find someone to chase with. I need more experience, but I am not willing to go at it alone. It is too risky to chase alone and without really knowing what you are looking at, it could be disastrous. Any advice would be great!

At least you live in prime chasing country! We get tornadoes here in Arkansas, but there are too many trees and hills!

You have some pretty nice shots on your site. You chase pretty far from home on occasion, huh? I would love to be able to have a greater range available to me, but it just isn't in the cards right now.

Thanks, Kayla. Well, I try to get out for 2 weeks each season, but I missed out last year due to another vacation to Jamaica. I am hoping on going down this June.
