Is there interest in a Mesoanalysis app for the android platform?
What price would you pay for this app?
Do you think that the size of screens on mobile devices are to small and processors / data connections to slow?

Do you have other Apps that you would like to see (besides a Radar app<--- In the works)

Sometimes maps take a long time to download from Google Maps - would it be possible to make a state-by-state map and store it on the device's memory?

I'd pay the higher price for a good weather app for my droid. I am beginning to think my droid is my perfect storm chaser tool these days =D heck it does everything I need! LOL

I'd love a mesoanalysis app for Android but I find the mobile version of the meso page on the SPC website works as well. I'm just glad to hear people are working on a radar app! I'd pay a nice premium for that app...Please keep us posted on that front!:D

The range of price in the poll is kinda silly. I think most would pay up to $5 if they were going to pay at all.

If it was fast, and could be zoned to state or 400-500 mile radius kinda thing, I'd be interested, especially if it included the entire 48 cont. states.

I just chose a price on that poll, but truthfully I'd gladly pay up to $10 for an app like that. I love a good weather app.

Im in!

Im with ya man. Last Thursday was the first chance I had to chase with my new Droid X (or any Droid for that matter) and its one of the best tools I have hands down. Especially going alone because you dont have to fight with a ton of crap on the other seat. lol

I use the My-Cast Weather app for radar. Easy to use and accurate on updates.

I wish I could get the spotter network app though. It doesnt come up in any of my searches.

What version of android are you running 2.1 or lower?

I'd say the first person to make a solid radar app for the Droid, with GPS overlay, and spotter network (Similar to StormLab/GR Level 3) will probably rake in some serious cash. I'd want that done before a mesoanalysis app. There are absolutely no radar apps worth a crap on there right now.

Dick, It is in development and should be out in the next few Months. There are some crazy features that you can PM me if you would like to know more. But as this is a public Forum and other developers could steal my ideas I won't post them here Until right before the release

iMap weather has the GPS overlay with (crappy edition) radar, and getting into any non-3G area really bogs this down. I'd love all the bells and whistles, but I'd like to make sure we could turn off as many features as we may need to get radar as updated as possible in low-coverage areas.

Wow! That app better pull my jeep out of a ditch too. :) It looks great though I must say. but 15/am or 150ay seems a bit much even for my tastes. I am willing to shell out money for something great but man I just dunno about that.
