• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

AllisonHouse Chaser Con Special - 1 Month Free

Tyler--

I just subscribed to AllisonHouse a week ago. I knew it was going to give me RELIABLE updates for GR3, but that was all I was expecting. The customizing of all the extra feeds was completely unexpected, and is incredible. I had not read about that in the different threads, so I wanted to just jump in here and make anyone considering your service aware that it is for a lot more than JUST the radar data.

I have also found Tyler's data to be very great. The NEXRAD data is just the start, but the radar placefiles are the best. During the winter storms in Pennsylvania I used the GRLevel3 software to track storms with the various placefiles including warnings. The lightning placefiles also are what brought me to AllisonHouse also. We get a lot of heavy thunderstorms around our area, but I don't have the equipment to setup my own lightning detector. With AllisonHouse it was easy to get a general idea of lightning in the area in a grid format and the subscription pays for itself and is much cheaper that the cheapest lightning detector. I found AllisonHouse was the way to go for radar analysis extras.

I'd like to give another shout out to AllisonHouse. I subscribed last chase season and was blown away by the reliability of the data feed. No more data slow-downs or long waits on high activity days for updates and I really enjoyed being able to customize the products I was viewing. A+

If you're going to subscribe for the entire year, this is a great deal!

Bryan
