That's just "nutty." I have a friend up in Edmonton who makes Jeep Tops for a living and even he was complaining about having to bundle up so bad to go outside and weld/paint.

I guess when you grow up with that kind of cold, you can tolerate it but I find myself asking if some brain cells have been killed at some point.

Opposite is true in Greenland. Thule Air Base (BGTL) at 76N was
41 F today. Ilulissat (BGJN) at 69N was 54 F w/ howling downslope
winds off the icecap. Monday AM low was only 41 F.

Thule, Greenland, is also the location where the fastest sea level
surface wind speed in the world was measured when a peak speed of
333 km/h (207 mph) was recorded on March 8, 1972.
