Finally getting around to posting the Hurricane Ophelia report and photos page. Chased from Wilmington, NC to the Outer Banks for this one. Nothing major in my location, however there was a pretty cool thing that happened to the Pamlico Sound along Hatteras Island. the onshore wind pushed the sound westward emptying out the sound for about 500 yards or so. People were out walking around in the sound with their kids and animals while the winds blew 35-45 with higher gusts. rain was not falling as Ophelia sort of dried up..
