well tuesday looks interesting after going over the new NAM. MCS moves across western/central IL during the morning/early afternoon hours most likely laying out a nice boundary with storms going off of that in the late afternoon/evening hours. mid-level flow is alright between 25kt-35kts but the low level shear is better given the strong H85 winds in the area and you add big amounts of instability south of the MCS track with mid/upper 70 dew points and you coud have a problem. have already looked at some soundings and the GBG/PIA soundings are quite nice with good turning although the CAP might be a problem with H7 temps between 12-14 and CIN at -49 on the GBG sounding at 0z. bulk shear isn't that great but sufficient for supercells. will be fun to watch this one play out given its on the home turf but will not be able to chase this setup due to having to work.

An outflow boundary should develop over central IL tomorrow from morning mcs. Cape looks to be high and shear looks good for some damaging winds.
