Spent most of the afternoon watching the boundary in N. Oklahoma. About 5-6 pm a few isolated T-storms started forming right on the trough. I first set up just North of US 412 on I-35 and started to shoot some lightning. After well over an hour and multiple strikes bagged, I headed N. on I-35 to the billings exit. Where I was treated to another CG Barrage! After running both of my Nikon Batteries out, I called it off, and headed for the house.

All in all, very satisfied with the Lightning I was able to film...especially this time year! :D:D:D

Great shot Stephen! I was also out shooting lightning last night and nabbed a few decent shots. You can view them on my blog.

Chased a lone supercell from Salina, KS southeast into the Flint Hills. Made one attempt at trying to produce a tornado before gusting out.
