The weakening of an initially unimpressive line of storms turned out to produce a fairly satisfying chase on Saturday. The resulting strong gust front that the dying storms set down was easy to 're-intercept' three times by driving ahead of it, which made for a fun afternoon. Copious amounts of blowing dust, debris and construction-barrel-toppling action. Vendors at an outdoor car show barely managed to keep their tents on the ground.
