After two consecutive ~100 degree days here in the Pacific NW, looks like Monday will be an interesting day along and east of the I-5 corridor from Portland to Seattle. Cascade foothills should see some isolated, high-based storms with the potential for hail, high winds and lightning. Would not be surprised to see an upgrade to SLGT risk, considering the extreme surface heating and increasing winds aloft with a nice push of moisture off the Pacific.

Hope for some good OPs in observing storm structure and nice CGs with the mountains as backdrops. If we can get the PSCZ to kick in, with a good push of marine air off the Pacific, things could get interesting in the foothills just east of Sea-Tac.
