Tropical Depression 2 is now a part of the record books...

I daresay it will have a short life-span, since it is practically onshore now. NHC doesn't seem to think too much of it, which is understandable. Having been following the TWOATs for the past few days, I didn't expect to see this one get numbered.
I guess its somewhat encouraging that despite a "slow" tornado season, the tropical season is proceeding at a reasonable pace. Unfortunately, I have to leave work now, and the TD is too far south for most of the model web pages that I can get to quickly, so I don't have much more to add.
