A video with audio of a successful tornado intercept by the Tornado Intercept Vehicle near Jayton, Texas on June 12, 2005 has been posted on YouTube. The video was shot from a location on the northwest side of Jayton. Audio of communications between the DOW and the TIV is included.

Nice video. Did you ever actually "intercept" the tornado? It's interesting to see how quickly the tornado disappears from sight when it becomes rain-wrapped.

No, I was content to observe the tornado from a distance and leave the intercept to the Tornado Intercept Vehicle.
