Chased around the Denver area today as a convergence zone set up east of town which fired a few storms. Outflow from those storms pushed the boundry into Denver and then fired off another round of storms which stirred up a landspout which I saw enroute to the storm, then minor flooding rains over Denver.

The spout I viewed as I was eastbound on I-76 at roughly about Wadsworth looking northeast. I didn't recognize it as a spout given the bad contrast from my view looking at the storm, but Dann Cianca's video showed it well to prove it was indeed a spout. He was looking northwest at it with no rain behind the spout from his view. Michael Carlson also saw it, so between the three of us, we nabbed a small spout today.

The real show for me was the heavy rains and street flooding in Westminster as I documented during the ladder half of the storm. Over an inch of rain fell in Denver in a short amount of time leading to ponding of roadways.
