Just east of the severely-warned storm in nor'east CO, showing a nice updraft base but LCL is a bit high at the moment.

54F Td in Imperial, NE is worthy of note.. so perhaps it's moving into a better environment. 52 in Sidney too.

Developing Cb in Burlington earlier,

Next few hours in the TX panhandle

While most folks have been chasing the garbage up north in northeastern CO, I have the feeling the TX panhandle east of Amarillo may be the sleeper today during the early evening hours, as high-based storms move E of the DL into the better moisture and backed flow - bill

I noticed this earlier as well, Bill. Storms looked to be firing SE of AMA, but in lower td's. Nice backed flow around SWW, with winds SE at about 20-25mph. Hopefully something will take off if it can get into the juice. td's have really rebounded now with the SE winds cranking up,with 60's all the way up to the red river. Moisture return won't be a problem with the winds starting to crank up like they are.

IR showing storm exploding around Lubbock and south around Midland.

SPC just issued an MD for the Panhandle with WW possible

hope this doesnt ruin tomorrow
