I started out at my house in TN. I really dread chasing where I live, so generally I let it come to me. Unless, there is a good scenario within an acceptable distance. Most systems that I see, always, always originate in the west, and move east towards me. It is very rare for a system to develop on or around my region. With that said, these are photographs I was able to document as the storms core pushed towards my abode. I noticed interesting motions in the base of the clouds, and a decent amount of vertical and horizontal shear, led to the lower hanging clouds, unorganized rotation. I really admired the large green core, which did bring hail. The storm had pretty bad structure, but I was able to pull these shots off. As it was approaching me, it reached around 55 dBZ - 65 dBZ.
Here are the photographs:
Bent Arcus Cloud
Illuminated hail core.
Arcus twisting and turning.
Impending shelf cloud precipitation.
