I chased a marginal setup in northeast Colorado yesterday 4/26 which yielded a photogenic storm that briefly had supercell characteristics over southern Yuma County, CO. The storm developed in an environment with a surface parcel of about 69/45°F. 4000 foot elevation and cold temps aloft allowed for favorable thermal profiles to support this organized severe storm. Below are a few prelim photos. I'll post more carefully processed photos and a full chase account in a couple days. The photography of this storm was tough because of very harsh contrast as the sun was out shining below the base of the storm about an hour before sunset
