A tornado watch has been issued for eastern MS and much of northern 2/3 of AL. Numerous SVRs issued on a very linear line from Butler, AL to Nashville TN.

It all is preceeding the warm front pushing through.

Several nice (potentially tornadic) supercells have developed in central AL. Southern cell looks to have classic supercell structure, but the low SRVs on the lowest tilt suggest that the storm is still organizing.

NWS reporting a touchdown in Blount Co, AL. However, the cell entering Autauga Co. appears to be the "Bad boy" today. looks like a classic supercell yet still tryin to get its act all the way together.

Apparently there has been a tornado reported in northern Jefferson county, AL (north of Birmingham) that has caused damage to homes.

The southern is really becoming a beast! I really wouldn't be surprised if that thing produced. What a hook!!!!

Looks like the southern cell has turned right is going to skirt the northern suburbs of Montgomery. Probably will strike just north of Prattville and hit the Millbrook/Coosada area hard.

The big cell that's getting ready to cross US HWY 82 in Autauga County, just W of Booth, had a wicked hook in the previous scan and has maintained that into the latest one. But SRV has remained at sane levels at both tilts 1 and 2 as far as I have noticed, though things do like they might be getting better organized with the new update. It will be interesting to see how the big cell that has developed directly behind it will effect that supercell. Nonetheless, a very impressive looking storm on radar.
