That non-tornado cloud feature in the far background, to the right of the tornado, and just above the horizon and below the distant cloud base. The "leaning funnel" - leaning left to right as you go up while looking towards the upper-system... I've seen that several times before during cold-core and (stacked) setups such as today. And indeed, you are looking west or northwest towards the stacked system.

I think it has to do with a rotating updraft, in a high ambient vorticity environment, where dry air is working into the 5-15kft layer; which makes the updraft "skinny". And, still lots of upper flow - 50 kts or so at 15-20 kft - to tilt the whole thing over.
