• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

I am surprised no thread has been started for there have been several tornado warnings in MO/IL with some damage reported in IL. There has also been a tornado warning issued for the Springfield, Illinois area. If a thread has been started somewhere else then go ahead and disregard this one.

You had to be fast to catch this one! The front just ripped through here 25 minutes ago, moving 60+mph. Five minutes and it was on down the road. Winds sustained 40-45mph with gusts 51 and 53mph, threw some patio furniture out into the field and scared the dog, but that was it. I slept late, so didn't really know what was coming, I could just see it getting dark northwest, and the rain moving in. Now to the east, tho, looking at the back of the front, nearly unbroken line of thunderheads, the ones in line for Vincennes, Ind, and Terre Haute looking especially crisp and vigorous. That front was moving way too fast to try to catch or keep up with.

You can add Ohio to this one. My county is seeming like ground zero for tornado reports right now. Trained spotters have reported multiple *different* funnel clouds.

There have been reports of touchdowns as well in central Defiance County, near Sherwood. Two trained spotters have reported a tornado that kept touching down then going back, and repeating.

And the Defiance County Emergency Manager reported a funnel cloud that touched down briefly near her house a couple miles SW of Defiance.

And a new report by the EM of a tornado touchdown on the north side of Defiance by US-24/St Rt 66 right by the Meijer Store.
