Enid is definetly under the gun. Main circulation just outside of town and look at the massive hail thats about to pummel the city.

Man, that Enid cell is getting ugly fast... went from no hook/minimal rotation to a well defined hook/serious rotation in two scans... with each new scan it gets more intense, looks like we could have a 'nader tearing through Enid/Vance AFB anytime now...
This is getting out of hand really, really quickly:eek:
EDIT: Two areas of rotation with Enid storm - one directly over southeast Enid, the other just south of Vance AFB. I'd hedge my bets that the Vance AFB circulation becomes dominant, drops a tornado on or just northeast of the air base and heads straight into Enid... this could be bad. Really bad.
Not to mention this storm is probably dropping softballs... so if the tornado doesn't get Enid, the hail surely will...

The hail in those storms is incredibly HARD! I drove through it on the NW expressway. I had golfballs hitting so hard, I though I was going to loose the windshield.

Im not likeing what im seeing in Summner couty in SC KS. Winds have shifted from the ENE and are now backing. Storms developing SW of ICT in Harper CO. Looks like the warmfront has moved a little north unless its just the outflow from the cell near Enid.

New area of roation in the vicinity of Cashion. Im calling this storm the big blob that kept on spinning.

Tornado near Enid being reported as rapped in rain.

Very tight circulation is passing directly over Vance AFB/Enid right now... praying it doesn't have a tornado on the ground and isn't about to demolish Vance and the south side of Enid, but my gut tells me otherwise...:(
EDIT: Third circulation appears to be forming on backside of the north OKC supercell near Cashion, Seward appears to be in line for a direct hit if this circulation stays true to form and produces...
EDIT 2: Winds at ICT now backing from the southeast at 8 mph with gusts to 12 mph... winds also backed at Medicine Lodge, southeast at 5 mph. Winds at Winfield are still out of the northwest (for now), it appears the warm front is beggining to arc northward into far south central Kansas.
Not overwhelmingly strong, but considering that they were out of the north/northwest just twenty minutes ago, the environment is changing rapidly, and if the developing supercells in Sumner County are anything to judge by, it's for the worst, I fear...

The Enid storm looks insane!

That thing is wrapped up TIGHT. This area also has not very many chasers on it, so the exact happenings are not so clear.

EDIT:

maybe losing intensity. but still some circluation

Latest scans show what I think *might* be a debris ball on the Enid storm... as tightly wrapped as that circulation was, I'm almost certain that a significant tornado just went through portions of Enid. The couplet isn't as intense as it was, I think the meso is cycling, which means that it could potentially ramp up again in the next few minutes.
EDIT: Oh, for crying out loud... the Enid cell has made a slight right turn, and then essentially stalled out. No idea what's causing that.

Maybe this is just me, but given the extremely favorable environment and constant barrage of tornadic supercells we've been experiencing the last hour or so, I think we're in the begginings of an extremely dangerous late night tornado outbreak over northern OK and southern KS... yikes, to say the least:eek::eek::eek:

The Enid storm is like cycling on itself in the exact same location.

It's nearly stationary just producing new little couplets

EDIT:

The storm NW of Enid along Highway 61 - seems to be getting it's act together now. Doing alot similar to the storm over Enid.... Producing in the same spot over and over

Ive noticed that the main FFD of the Enid storm has bowed out and new development has formed to its SW attached to the main body of the storm alot like what were seeing down in OKC.

House damage at 179th and Penn. Live feed coming from KOCO CH 5. Roof looks to have been torn off. So this was a tornado and not the strong RFD. New area of rotation in OKC metro has moved just to SW of Guthrie. Rotation is tight but no tor warning yet.

On the other hand, maybe not. The Enid cell has gone from a distinct cell to an amorphous convective blob, and the new convection along Highway 61 appears to be more of a multi-cellular as opposed to supercellular nature. The Sumner Co. KS cells are also colliding into one massive mushball... so idk.

EDIT: Logan Co., OK circulation looks pretty interesting. No warning yet, however if it continues to tighten up, would expect it will go TOR warned soon... kind of surprised it's not warned as is
