Any chance if the precip keeps expanding in size to the sw will we see the cell just south of Clinton begin to weaken or will the outflow help this storm get going faster? Id bet my money that the cell in extreme NE Greer Co will be the first to go tornado warn. Showing the strongest sigs of rotation and is the tail end of this cluster of cells. This is alot like how the Greensburg event start. Cluster of cells fired and the tail end comes out on top.

Looks like an RFD just started going, but that new cell might merge in and kill it off... or, it could merge in and make it produce huge hail again. GR2AE hasnt tripped it as a TVS yet, but I'm starting to get some NROT values approaching TVS criteria.

OH YEAH HERE WE GO. 75 DBZ showing up on radar and this baby is beginning to hook. Rotation now showing up at the lower lvls. THATS NO MOON ITS A SPACE STATION:eek: Tor warning immenent with the cell leavin NE Greer entering into SE Beckham and SW Wa*****a Co.

*Forum wont let me complete the spelling of county $ is a S.

David - it was another cell. It just underwent a merger. Give it a few minutes and lets see if this baby gets rollin again.

Storm top divergence just bumped up, over 110 knots now. Maybe that will start stretching some vortices!

This could be a problem with RFD since the 850mb is veering and suface level winds are not that great nor are the backing all that well either. David is this storm getting enough inflow from the SE.

LOL I didn't realize the forum was auto-censored. Too bad for the people living in that county!

Cell merger was good to us - GR2AE MDA Green TVS!

I think that the td spreads need to lower just a bit before any serious tornado threat is realized. However, with nocturnal cooling and rich boundary layer lurking to the SE (and SE winds advecting it north) it may eventually tornado. However, by no means is anything imminent.

Looks like the storm is still getting decent inflow...OK mesonet showing SE winds at Hobart with 80/61...air might be a little dry just above the surface however. Why the heck are people calling out an "imminent" tornado warning? Looks like a cell merger took care of that...

I am west of hobart right now with a rapidly rotating wall cloud live on my streaming cam. Linked on my website in my sig or on severestudios.com

David has a great live video feed going right now. Roger Hill also just restarted his stream. If you want to see the latest video feeds, refresh your browser every five minutes on the Live ChaseCam Network.

Thanks to David for being one of the first to stream a funnel on www.SevereStudios.com !!

We have three IT guys right now working with the server trying to optomize the feeds from David and Roger. (Over 150 of you are watching right now!) Please be patient if you experience delays or buffering.

I might agree with those "imminent" tornado predictions soon, lowest tilt rotation has picked up since the cell merger, and the cell is taking on a more easterly track. Probably is more rooted at the surface now.

I might have got a little gun hoe on the "tor immenent". The cell got serious fast and with everything that went down (RFD, 75DBZ on radar, impressive couplet showing) i figured we'd see something fast. David's site crashed :(lol cant get into it. Must be paitent must be paitent. Area of intrest looks to be in extreme NW Kiowa county now.

*Can someone post the link to the live feed and not to the website or is that even possible?
