Tornado watch was issued and within 15 minutes a tornado warning was issued south of Johnson City. Excellent rotation and hook on radar.

Reports of a possible tornado with damage entering the Austin area (should pass just northwest of the city). Strong hook on radar. 10:20 a.m.

Indeed. The cell now north of Brownwood is right-moving and rotating like mad. Hopefully it will stay north of the US377 corridor and not threaten the big towns like Dublin and Stephenville.

Where did everything go? I'm sitting on Highway 287 Just outside of Justin, TX (west of Denton) and there were some good looking cells and now nothing... My connection is still bad but better today. If anyone is chair chasing today I'd love any help.. My cell is 940-783-2136. I'm going to sit here for a bit...

I'd say the experts are too busy to be posting much right now. To me it sure looks like a classic event developing. I think I can pick out all the features on the vis loop: low level jet with tons of moisture, mid-level dry advection (the clearing you mention, I think, Glenn), upper jet, mega-forcing from the west, and focused surface helicity from the developing wave.

That cell in Parker Co, TX seems to be turning more and more to the right. Springtown might be a good bet now.

Phil Hurlbut is on the Thurber Storm (now about to cross into Parker County), and I'm nowcasting for him at work. it's starting to look better and better on radar I think. Can anyone refer me to an online map that has the counties on them? Because Google maps doesn't show the counties on them :(
