I thought I might start a thread on the possible setup tomorrow across E KS/W MO. A front stalled close to I70 will become unstable tomorrow afternoon as dewpoints rise into the low 60s. Steep lapse rates and deep vertical shear will contribute to a few supercells. Unfortuntely, the low level jet is to move out and limit the low-level shear as well as little vertical shear will limit severe potential. I will continue to watch this as it would be a local chase.

I am driving out of KC right now and targeting W Kansas along I70 and points north. The warm front seems like a good play for tornadic supercells late this afternoon into the evening. A good combo of instability and shear is present along the WF and should be focus for supercell development. It is also where we will target tomorrow as well.
