Something good for 'April Fools Day' !

This evening I noticed an occasional lightning-flash (to my north) alittle distance away, so ofcourse that being an uncommon occurrence in April (and lightning being my first love), I grabbed the my jacket, the camcorder & went out to watch. :)
I sat up out there watching for around 9-10 minutes before precip started falling, at which point I went inside (where I watched for another 5-6 minutes).
After I moved inside, the storm strengthened & moved in, dropping a mix of small hail & bean-bag snow(also known as graupel), which fairly soon afterward converted to all graupel.
This storm got strong enough, it even got a 'special weather statement' issued for it.
Total accumulation was only around 3/4".

Since its "bean-bag snow" (graupel). I could kinda count this as my 2nd thundersnow storm of the year!

1st image: (video frame-grab) lightning strike
2nd image: accumulated graupel (this later froze forming a layer of ice)
3rd image: radar
4th image: special weather statement text
