A small breeze moving north from Cuba produced several waterspouts just off the eastern coast of Key West on Thursday, March 13th. I was dining nearby and was alerted by a fellow chaser that a waterspout was forming as he was positioned near Key West airport at the time. I raced down to the end of Duval Street just in time to catch the end of the second waterspout. It was a pretty neat intercept as I had never seen waterspouts before. Everything dissipated before moving onshore.
