Chased the CO front range. We parked it on the east side of Denver and watched storms fire. Three supercells became severe warned fairly early in the afternoon. We watched them move over the city and close to the airport. The middle supercell became tornado warned but we waited a little to make our decision. An outflow boundary was moving south and we wanted to see if it would undercut our storm or enhance it. After the passage of the boundary, we watched the storm weaken, then strengthen and ingest the boundary. We moved in to position to capture the tornado's short life near Pleasant Valley CO just northeast of Denver international airport.
After the tornado, we bailed to the south to intercept a severe storm with epic structure.
