This was my first chase of the season. I targeted southern Kansas, rather than northern Kansas, because I thought that any northern storms would become messy and interfered with fast. I had hoped the dryline would be able to fire off a nice, big, tail end supercell that could move into deep enough moisture to get interesting. The models showed this as a possibility leading into Sunday. It turns out that a few LP cells fired up on the southern end of the dryline, but they didn't last long and seemed to struggle mightily as the cap won out. This day turned into a fairly boring, half cap bust.
