Drove a very long ways for a long shot. Didn't pay off with a tornado or even a supercell, but still nice to get under a severe storms. We caught the storm rolling out of northern Mexico. It quickly gusted out very hard as soon as we arrived. The "whale's mouth" outflow feature was the best I've ever seen in my chasing life so far. We tried racing the winds back east to get some structure shots before it was too dark, but by then the storm had blew itself out. Nevertheless, an exciting chase in a new area of Texas for me. Pretty funny that I had to drive through a mandatory border patrol checkpoint to keep pace with this storm!

Fast-moving "Whale's Mouth" feature south of Bracketville, TX:

Pretty good lightning show just east of Uvalde, TX:
