I observed three tornadoes on Monday, July 1 in eastern Illinois near Saint Francisville and Bellmont. There were possibly two others that I could not confirm ground circulation due to obstructions. These tornadoes occurred at the center of a well-defined MCV under the upper low. The second tornado can be heard on video passing through a grove of trees with a "whoosh" and loud popping/cracking as trees are snapped.
Of note is that I reported two of the stronger tornadoes, and they were not warned nor entered into LSRs. This was likely a prolific event with numerous at least brief tornadoes, in addition to "cold air funnels". My chase log with images and video is linked below:
