I had my first chase to the Texas Panhandle since moving to Oklahoma yesterday where I intercepted some less-than-stellar storms south of Texhoma in the Texas Panhandle. Got a few decent pictures, but I'd consider the chase a 'bust' overall.

Initially targeted AMA-GUY but ultimately had to stray a bit farther from home for any severe action. Here are a couple shots of the Finney Co. storm (~15 SW GCK) at sunset.

Not the worst October chase I've had; I'll leave it at that. ;)

Targeted Grand Island for my friend and I's last chase of the season. We then intercepted the first lone cell that had fired just sw of Grand Island, just north of Central City. Not a bad looking storm overall. Followed it until it went into higher lcl's as it traveled northeast and due to it being ~6:30, an hour and a half from the new supercell sw of Grand Island, and ~8 hours from home; we decided to just keep following our current storm and head home.
