Caught the rope tornado near Itasca, TX. Missed the reported tornado that occurred before this one (initially targeted near Edgewood, TX). Beautiful structure, very happy with how today turned out. Will write up more later on my, blog. Off to bed, for now hopefully more action tomorrow.

Tornado Southeast of Glen Rose Texas. Correction: followed the supercell from Glen Rose to Carls Corner and then to tail end charlie to almost Buffalo Texas. long day. windshield beat by baseball hail. was not the first time and probably not the last. should have more pics uploaded over the next couple of days.

Tracked storms from Glen Rose to Carls Corner, TX seeing several tornadoes and funnels. Then dropped south to the tail-end charlie storm and saw more tornadoes and funnels from southeast of Mexia to east of Buffalo. Will have to sort this out the next several days.

Got a tornado off CR1224 east of town of Nemo then later near Itasca. Nemo was cone less than halfway condensed down over a wet field with some rain curtain surrounding and lifting debris a bit on the ground intermittently. Itasca was a slender white rope to needle vortex. Later broke south the next storm and followed. Saw a nice almost bell shaped to block wallcloud and earlier another wallcloud / funnel which I hear produced a tornado that apparently I didn't wait around long enough for. As the chase ended ne of Buffalo got hammered with a pretty nice wet RFD. Ran into Tim Marshall, Matt Crowther, & Sean at a gas station and later Mexican dinner with Gene Moore and Randy Denzer. All in all an enjoyable chase.

Started the day at I-20 around Forney.TX. Watched the Glen Rose go boom but waited for something closer to initiate. Left the area taking the back roads and made it to Blooming Grove around the time reports were coming in Milford about a tornado. Got some pea size hail about the time I made to Frost but nothing more. I then headed south and intercepted the Mexia storm. I want to say I saw a brief funnel but I wasn't fast enough with my camera (SR 171 and US 84). Headed home after that. I do have some video and pics of both locations. On a side note I got pulled over in Scurry,TX for supposedly having a defective taillight. I also got stopped 4/14 in Ardmore for looking suspicious is what the cop told me. Cops were cool and no tickets giving but you get the idea...
