2011-04-25 NOW: TX/OK/AR

Absolutely wicked velocity couplet on KLZK about 10 nmi from the site. I see 160 kts max delta-V (separated by about 4 gates for a total of about 0.33 nmi apart) at 0.5 deg on the 0001Z scan.

ADD: now up to 170 kts max delta-V as of 0006Z scan. This signature is less than 600 ft ARL. Likely debris ball as well.

Very intense circulation with tornado on the ground now just SE of Roland, AR. Debris ball visible on the 0001z scan! Another tornado warned storm is SW of Little Rock and heading straight towards it.

Extremely impressive couplet on the center supercell moving north of Little Rock. Now looks like there is a debris ball associated with it....

Extremely Intense G2G Directly East of Mayflower, AR. Debris Ball as others have said on earlier posts.

Effective Layer SRH is around 600 in that area.......dangerous situation unfolding.

Here is a grl2 radar grab of this debris ball... extremely intense couplet!

One of the most impressive scans I have seen.

Edit 1: :30 CDT:

Looks like it passed just NE of Vilonia,AR (2900). We can only hope.

Reports that the tornado producing the debris ball was wedge shaped in the Vilonia Ar area. Looks like this is going to be a long tracked tornado when it is all done. Still shows impressive radar returns.....................

Another example of how serious this day has been... a flash flood emergency has been in effect for Butler County, MO since 619 PM CDT. Combined heavy rainfall and water overtopping the levee on the Black River has led to a very dangerous flooding situation in and around the Poplar Bluff area. As of now, the levee on the Black River has not failed yet.

...A FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY FOR BUTLER COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST MISSOURI
IS NOW IN EFFECT.

SHORTLY AFTER 600 PM CDT...TRAINED WEATHER SPOTTERS REPORTED FLASH
FLOODING IN POPLAR BLUFF FROM VERY HEAVY RAIN. VEHICLES WERE
REPORTEDLY DRIVING THROUGH WATER UP TO THEIR HEADLIGHTS IN FRONT OF
THE POPLAR BLUFF WAL MART.

WATER RESCUES WERE ALSO TAKING PLACE ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF ELLSINORE
IN SOUTHEAST CARTER COUNTY.
