That storm is moving into Eastland County now. WFAA has had tickers and is now breaking in. Looks kind of crappy on reflectivity but still has a little rotation in it.

Dew points are in the mid 30's in that region. I have my doubts of any tornado forming there. 100 or so miles to the south would be a different story. The warm front is looking really nice from San Antonio to Houston.

Tornado watch #63 issued for parts of SC and SE TX. Speed max is starting to eject through parts of S.TX and the warm front is starting to retreat ever so slightly. Things could get a little interesting later.

David Drummond is running a smooth stream right now and is approaching the tornado warned cell in Llano Co. TX from the southeast. Link here. The cell has looked impressive on radar for at least the last 45 minutes.

Very impressive supercell southwest of Eagle Pass which will soon cross into Webb county, Texas. Amazing radar presentation right now.

Anyone else see that cell in Mexico about to move into extrem south texas?

That thing looks brutal!

The mexico cell is a beast, I think the cell that Dave Drummond and Reed Timmer and others are on is about to lose it's inflow stream to the developing cell south west of it.

They can be in postion for the "tail end charlie" easy enough though.

As the southern cell waxes expect the northern cell to wane.

Good call Tom: that SA cell did just lose the mesomarkers and TVS.

The cell NW of Austin got undercut by outflow by the appearance of nearby radar data. Note the fineline that is pushing out ahead of that storm, and others in that band. Note also the strong (20-25 mph) NW winds behind it...

My question is, which "Jason H." was it that made a rather frivolous report on Spotter Network? "Very dark to the S.E."?

EDIT: Not trying to imply "jason H" is "Jason Harris" of the above post! My apologies to him for any confusion. The real "jason H." who made the SpotterNet report did make a frivolous one, though.

I would bet that cell in Mexico produced a nice tornado just a little while ago. The rotation just occluded off and a new area is forming. Anyone know who "CoD" on spotternetwork is? That Eagle Pass area sure is a hot bed for supercells.
