Blame boredom for my actually starting a thread about this, but there's an interesting ongoing event over eastern Missouri into central Illinois. Not sure what to call it... an elevated severe thundersnow event or something like that. Convection has been producing large hail over a good swath of are that is hovering around the freezing mark and is covered by about a foot of snow. Quite a few hail reports are coming in at the moment.
